Privacy Policy

Nakaya: Growing Snowflakes is made by Aster Studio. It collects nothing about you. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and nothing about you or your use of the app is sent to us or to anyone else.

What we collect

Nothing. The app has no sign-in and no profile, and it contains no analytics, crash reporting, advertising or attribution code. It does not ask for your location, contacts, camera or microphone.

What stays on your phone

The crystals you keep, the names you give them, the name you sign your letters with, your progress through the story and whether you turned the narration on are saved in the app's own storage on your phone. They are never uploaded. Deleting the app deletes them.

Photos

If you save a specimen card, iOS asks whether Nakaya may add a picture to your photo library. That permission lets the app add pictures only; it cannot see or read the photos you already have.

Purchases

The one in-app purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details or your Apple Account. Apple's privacy policy covers that transaction.

Network use

The app makes no network requests of its own. Every crystal is computed on your phone. The only connection it relies on is the App Store's, when you buy or restore the purchase.

This website

This site uses no analytics, no advertising and no cookies, and it loads nothing from other companies. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which, like any web host, processes the technical details of each request, such as your IP address, in order to deliver and protect the site. We do not use that information to identify you.

Children

Nakaya is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children. There is nothing to disclose and no one to disclose it to.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date at the top, and the change will be noted in the release notes of the version that introduces it.
